Kedarnath Dham to arrive in few minutes, start heli service

Dehradun: Good news for travelers going to Chardham . The long-awaited heli-service was over now. The service has started for helicopter Kedarnath from Guptkashi, Sonprayag, Maikhanda, Jamu-Phata and Badasu from 6 am on Friday. According to media reports, the Heli service is getting good reponse. All the companies have received fifty to sixty percent bookings for Dham. Those using the heli service do not need an e-pass. SOPs have already been issued on this subject.

Pilgrims are also reaching Kedarnath in the Corona period. Since June 12, a total of 24815 pilgrims have visited Baba Kedar in Dham. In Kedarnath, 2235 devotees saw the self-proclaimed Linga of Lord Ashutosh. Baba’s darshan is being offered to all the devotees from the assembly hall. 2175 e-passes were issued for Kedarnath yesterday. Everyone expects that the number of visitors daily is expected to increase with the start of heli service.

Assistant Nodal Officer of Helicopter Service Surendra Singh Panwar informed that eight heli companies including Arrow Aviation, Pinnacle, Chipson, Crystal, Thumbi, Himalayan have reached Kedarghati for Kedarnath. Staff and helicopters of heli companies have reached the identified helipad. It is expected that after the start of Heli service, more and more devotees will also be able to reach the Dham. With this, the heli service will continue for Dham even after closure of the valve. Necessary guidelines have been issued to heli companies. Talking about the heli service fare, pilgrims will have to pay Rs 3875 from Gupta Kashi, 2360 from Fata, 2340 from Sirsi to go to Kedarnath.

Please tell that the passengers coming to Kedarnath Dham will have to register beforehand. For which they can register themselves by visiting the web portal of GMVN (https://gmvnonline.com/). Let us know that so far 850 people have booked for Heli services of Kedarnath. No private company has been given responsibility for booking for tickets not being black marketed.
