Ayodhya Airport name Change Maryada Purushotam Shi Ram
The Ayodhya Airport has been named Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram Airport. The decision was taken by the UP cabinet on Tuesday. The cabinet decided to send the proposal to the civil aviation ministry.
Mean while, the cabinet approved a proposal to give relief to farmers and traders and reduced mandi fees from 2% to 1%. Now, for trading within a mandi, one will have to pay 1.5% fees against 2.5%, which includes 0.5% as development charges which remain unchanged. The move will encourage trade within the mandi, especially in light of the new agricultural laws under which farmers need not sell their wares within a mandi, said an official.
